Hello friends! My name is Brian Perkins. I am a Biblical scholar, teacher and ministry leader. I help biblical students and skeptics to better understand and apply God’s word so that they can live according to its message and teach it to others.
Maybe you believe that the bible has great value for your life and can provide you with direction, but find its message to be difficult to access and challenging to understand. Or perhaps you have struggled to believe the claims of the bible or found it tough to have an authentic faith.
I have felt all of these challenges, but I have been able to overcome them. Not only I, but countless others have overcome these problems and gone on to successful lives of faith and become productive teachers of God’s word.
I have a PhD in Comprehensive Theology and a Master’s degree in Engineering. I have proficiency in reading the Bible in English, Hebrew and Biblical Greek. I have worked over two decades to study God’s word and explain its message with scientific precision. Together with my wife I have been an Evangelist, church leader, missionary to Papua New Guinea, published author and mentor to ministry leaders.
I have been on a journey to help youths, new converts, skeptics and seekers develop a deep passion for the Word of God and to access it in exciting new ways.
The reason I created this blog is to help students learn how to use the Bible better in their lives and for their ministries, to train the next generation of leaders and teachers and to help skeptics have a firm foundation in the faith.
