Division, tribalism and prejudicial ignorance are fixtures of our times. By nature, many of our biases are hidden until exposed and confronted by the light of scripture. The following topics are best taught individually as workshops for a ministry.
- The Bible and Gender
This workshop offers the tools needed to help a ministry biblical work through gender roles and expectations. (This does not include the challenges facing the LGBT community).
- The Bible and Race
This workshop seeks to bring clarity behind the racial divides that causes fissures in our ministries. The goal is to bring awareness and understanding so different communities can work together better.
- The Bible and the Generations
This workshop addresses a troubling divide that has plagued God’s people for generations. It seeks to resolve the issues of ageism in our ministries.
In many ways these topics overlap. The scriptures offer us hope to prevent them from becoming future causes of ministry divides.
